Have to agree with Retired's comments ... I keep staring at the brackets and thinking, "Man, this is a loaded tournament!". UCLA might be the only exception in the mix, but nevertheless they were good enough to make it to the playoffs, so they deserve it. Also, thinking about the recent, close matches had between some of these teams, I think this tournament has the potential to be the most interesting one yet. If these guys really play like they want it bad, then they have all my respect. Yes, I'm obviously a rabid BYU Rugby fan, but I'm hoping for this to be the biggest and baddest competition of the season on all sides. Good luck to all in the tournament!

The only complaint I have is that, well, I've been to Marietta and Life's rugby ground is, gee whiz, marginal at best, with seating for maybe 3-400 people on 4-5 tier bleachers. I know it's Mid-South's turn to host the semis, but the competition is leaving a bunch of money on the table by holding it at Life. I guess it's OK, should BYU win, since there will likely be a semi-full stadium at Rio Tinto. But, if both BYU and Utah lose in the earlier rounds, I'd be surprised if the final draws 2,000 spectators. A home match at BYU versus Life would draw 3-4,000 if properly marketed. With BYU graduating 12 seniors as Cal did last year, they're probably in for a spell of rebuilding. Next year the West and East conferences hold the home rights for the semis. And the Wasatch Cup will be played at Rio Tinto so Utah may have a bit of an advantage in winning home field for the semis. I have no idea where the final might be held next year. Anyone else?
