I find this very interesting that this is an Invitational "Championship". What creates the qualification, besides OLD BOYS, MLRG is one of two teams in the last two years that has beaten the Amazons and has played a close match with Fallbrook. We did apply and were denied. Under what criteria? What are we teaching our youth? Play hard, beat nationally ranked teams, and then tough luck "You were not invited." If this is so, just tell the rest of the HS Girls rugby to piss off and dont worry about playing to be the best you can because it doesnt matter if you beat the Nation's top teams you are SOL if you do not get invited. Since when is a Championship based on invitation and not by performance? Please Call me if someone can explain why we were denied. I am all ears. 619-807-8881 Coach 40
