Minnesota would represent well if offered. Their play in the Big Ten tourney was strong despite being saddled with an extra pool match. I believe two of their best players were also at some representative camps. Don't know their schedule or budget, but probably a better option than Nebraska who struggled with numbers and travel late in the XV's season.

Arkansas actually has a very prominent upcoming rugby program, this is there first year in D1 and they've already broke the Top 25, and they beat Texas A&M in 7's and only lost by a contraversial try against LSU, don't sleep on them...

Bummer Navy can't make it... they are a very good team and could have done well. Iona College should get some consideration (3rd Place @ Empire). Fun team to watch with some good play-makers.

I wasn't aware that Bowling Green received an offer, and I think they should attend! Their last day of classes are on December 12th with finals week that week. This is an opportunity for all the teams and the guys and if they can pull it off, they should make it happen.

It's disappointing to see so many teams drop out. Obviously, there was a communication breakdown in the planning of this tournament. Before the 2013 tournament there should be agreement about the timing of the qualifiers and the Championship tournament. I think the concept is sound but there is room for improvement in the marketing and scheduling of the entire competition. If a team plays in a qualifier it should guarantee that they will move on to compete at the next level if they win or place in the qualifier. Any club that qualifies and then drops out should be fined and excluded from the following year's competition. There should be no teams dropping out because they all knew that the plan was to play the Championship on December 15th and 16th.
