Can someone please tell me why there would be 3 at-large bids on the same side of one bracket? That makes the right side of the bracket much easier to get to the National Championship game... illogical.

Life can play into the CRC in Las Vegas, if they are that good. The USA Rugby 7's Championship will not have some of the top programs in the country, becuse the program is during finals and the event is woefully disorganized.

Like Pat Clifton said The championship is going to be in December in College Station @ Texas A&M. Bids and at-large bids are still being determined, with that being said the invitational in Philly is a great event!!!

In response to brownj12's question "Is there any one who can explain how the D-2 Men's seeds work in the Northeast" .... New England is now recognized as a new Geographic Union (GU) and gets a seed. Met NY and NYS remain in whats left of the Northeast until (or if) they decide to become another GU, they get a seed. And lastly, Rugby NE formed a conference ahead of the planned conference only format and they recieve a seed.

I just wanted to know where the fall event would be held since that was never "officially" posted. We heard Florida, we heard Texas. Now I still need to wait to see if USAFA gets an at-large bid to book.

"It will be in Philadelphia in June at PPL Park." I am with MRossiter. Go to both 7s Championships and then determine which was a better quality event, which was better attended, which had better rugby, and which is nationally televised. Why USA Rugby couldn't get on that bandwagon is beyond me.

Is there any one who can explain how the D-2 Men's seeds work in the Northeast, in the past NERFU, MetNy and NYS Rugby all played for 3 seeds. One of those seeds was given up to Rugby NorthEast which makes sense. What is confusing me is that the NRU has one seed and NERFU has another. Are the NERFU teams not playing for the NRU seed?
