I knew it. If it weren't for Brazier getting hurt, OB yellow card having more impact than NYAC's yellow card, and the knock-on at 5m line (probably wasn't a knock-on...bad call by ref), and with OB's scrum being much better than NYAC's, OB really won. Congratulations OB on the "win".

Yeah that knock at the 5 meter seemed to be a turning point. They were rolling forward, the ball was starting to squirt out the side when it was knocked on. Shame OB couldn't capitalize on the first sin bin on NYAC #6. NYAC played calmly though and through patience were able to grind out a nice victory.

A very solid NYAC performance, old blue did have upper hand in the scrum for the first 40. At full strength they missed a chance to score from a scrum on the 5 which seemed to be walking over the line. the ball was knocked on an NYAC cleared. The sun bin at the start of the 2 nd half of a player from each side I would say was more damaging to OB as they lost their 8 who was playing well whilst NYAC lost a wing. This combined with the NYAC scrum getting to grips with their opposites put the game away. It was a good game to watch and was closer than the score suggests with NYAC running away abut in the last quarter . A very clinical performance.

OB dominating the scrums...NYAC didn't want no part. There was a fair crowd in attendance. OB 2nd XV won like 15-12 or something like that in a close match shortened.

Were there any spectators in attendance? If the goal of the Super League is to professionalize , they need to start thinking about attracting fans, not just playing for themselves.

The old blue web site guy needs everyone's help in writing this week's post game analyses, as he is running out of ideas. Please write in with your ideas on "Old Blue would have and should have won this game were it not for...." Thank you and look forward to reading what you come up with...be creative...as in the past, does not have to be believable.
