Come all the talk about the pack, How about all the kicking away of possession, i would think you could see kicking is not working opposition just collects it and the USA is on it"s back foot again. how about the backs standing so far back and still flat footed when they get the ball. Can nobody catch and run at the same time. If this is the case the NFL makes final cuts a week before world cup starts maybe we should have tried some of them.

1/ All the assistant staff for the Eagles are American, on EOS's request. 2/ Italy, Japan, Australia for instance don't seem to mind being coached by foreigners. So let's stop blaming the "aliens" for a second and maybe realize that all those guys are here to make a difference and help unearth this huge potential that USA Rugby is. As someone else said, it's everyone's problem, top to bottom all the way!

I'm tired of hearing everyone whine about malifa. Too many teams bring in 10's from overseas. Its ttime for us to learn how to coach 9s and 10s so we can train guys at home, guys who will be eligible to play for the usa. If we want a better national team we need better coaches at the lower levels, so no one has to wait till they are playing for a top club or national team to learn quality play. This is everyones problem. Malifa is the best choice available, and he works his butt off. Let's support him and then do the trench work of developing his successor. Our community is small - we can all make a difference.

5- Malifa is not a bad flyhalf and he's what the US has. let's hope he's not reading these posts n letting the comments get 2 . 6- Back 3. so many choices n all good. 7- creativity...lacking. i think i saw one scissor play yesterday that took a gap, broke the gainline, etc Good luck eagles. i'm expecting 1-3 but hoping 4 2-2.

even knowing the scoreline b4 watching the game (thx rugbymag) I still had 2 watch. 1- Paul/Enosa - good pairing in the centers. Wyles n Suiniula (sp?) give good options as well. 2- It's already ben said but the scrummaging was so so. Mac n Pittman look solid. Hooker? both can play n bring different styles. its a toss up. 3- lavalla at lock was good. i liked JJ in the backrow as well. chapman n johnson played well. clever was missed. yes. 4- speaking of backrow, looked like there was no backline push across the field on D as the backrows came out of set pieces. allowed Japan 2 get overlaps an d break gaps. need 2 fix that
