to the ghost writer of this article: who did Julie McCoy coach, Little Rock or the Rogues team? Your statement was written as a non sequitur. I like ham sandwiches for lunch.

Not sure what's inaccurate? The Rogues had exactly one game's worth of rest more than the Islanders. Someone was going to have more rest than the other. The bracket was set up to have the top seed receive an extra game's rest, and the Rogues beat the top seed in Tulsa. There were 5 certified referees in action that day. No game was reffed by an uncertified referee. Got problems with how they reffed? Take it up with the HOARFU ref society. Islanders rested under a tree before the final. Now you have to be provided a tent to make things fair? Islanders were also allowed to take on a sub from the Blues before the final, despite not having an injury that would warrant them to do so by typical 7s rules. The venue change was an improvement and done because of weather. The other pitch would have been half mud and half water.

another wonderful report of events. Actually the tournament started with a change of venue at the last minute in proper rogues fashion. The tournament was ran very smoothly if you like unorganization and no congratulations to the carnivores for there first ever 7s tournament which they should hold their heads high for valiant effort. With a majority of this article being true(50% of it) lets discuss the Islanders and Blues semi final which was hard fought and kudos to both sides with the islanders with the win they were given a 10mn rest and on to the finals, meanwhile the Rogues rested under a tent. The Rogues won and congrats to them but please report the true happenings of the days events.Final thought please remember when hosting tournaments please have refs for they are vital to the game.
