Agree. Seta is obviously a great player who didn't really get in synch with the National Team in the short November tour. The Churchill Cup and the Canada tests this summer would have been a great opportunity to get him playing time along Emerick, etc. and develop the chemistry he would need to do the sort of damage in the RWC that he's been doing in France.

It really is to bad seta tuilevuka is hurt right now. When he was playing he looked one of the best centers in the top 14 let alone in the united states.

Scott signed with Stade Francais I believe already, not Racing Metro...anyway, this, despite missing some excellent players in Smith, Wyles, and Z (all of whom would start), Manoa, who would certainly be in the matchday 22, still is a match we must win, and while the points won't be a focus, the form overall will be, especially the defensive patterns and individual tackling. We must not only stay in form, but also make the tackles and legally slow the ball down each tackle. I still worry about two aspects on attack - continuity and patience. Against the Saxons, we clearly suffered from a lack of both. And you can't get ANYTHING dynamic without both...Not sure what's up with Mac...surprised he hasn't been in either match 22...maybe because he's a known quantity?

Apparently, Lavalla will go to Paris, but for Stade Francais, not Racing, so he won't play the HCup this coming year...

I checked the Heineken Cup seedings for next season and, based upon current roster commitments, the USA will have at least 5 representives playing for the cup: Ngwenya (Biarritz), Wyles (Saracens), Smith (Saracens), Tuipalotu (please forgive me on the spelling, he plays for Montpelier) and Samoa (Northampton). If Lavalla is signed by Racing, he will be in, too.

Did MacDonald get hurt? He's in the squad so I'm surprised to see him not even on the bench for this one. To Jeff Bremer, you're right, but a number of those guys (Smith, Manoa, Ngwenya, Wyles) are not in the Chruchill Cup squad because of obligations to their pro club, being rested after a long pro season, or injury.

This seems to be a better squad however still not the best. I was really hoping to get a view of some the real combinations we will see in the world cup.
