Former Salisbury Shark's Run Across USA

Former Salisbury rugby player Chris Sams is running across America to promote fitness, and he needs help. He'll be running from Maryland to San Diego and will be relying on volunteers to host him at different locations across the country, as he runs 25-30 miles a day.

All Army Team Visits Children's Hospital

The All-Army 7s team visited Children's Hospital in Denver during the time they were in town for the International Defense 7s in Glendale, Colo.

Former Stanford football star and current Cleveland Browns hopeful Johnson Bademosi spoke with Cleveland.com about how rugby helped make him a better football player. Bademosi was a star for Gonzaga HS in the DC area, and also for the USA U19s and U20s.

He is hoping to hook on with the Browns as a defensive back.

ESPN Boston Talks to Magleby

USA 7s coach Alex Magleby got a tip of the cap from ESPN Boston Sunday, as the 2012 and 2016 Olympics creep closer.

"I hope the public's perception would be that they expect us to win gold," Magleby said of the 7s Eagles who are yet to qualify for the 2016 Games in Brazil. "We should be a podium team. We're a country of 300 million-plus people and we produce athletes with a far-ranging base of skills. We just have to expose them to the sport."
