Navy Considering Status

The US Naval Academy rugby team is still in D1-A, but that's up for discussion.

Navy Head Coach Mike Flanagan told RUGBYMag.com that "we're contemplating it. We are definitely looking at it."

Flanagan will meet with the USNA Athletic Director Chet Gladchuck to explore whether the program wants to stay in D1-A or drop out to pursue an independent schedule, or some as-yet-unformed conference schedule.
