Life on to D1-A Semis
Colleges - College DI-A

Life University steamrolled over Penn State University 75-3 Saturday to move on to the D1-A College semifinals next week.

Penn State actually led early, using quick ball to force Life into a series of penalties, and finally capping that attack with a Joe Baker penalty.

However, once Life got the ball, they were enormously difficult to contain. The Running Eagles were very strong in contact and their offloading kept PSU backpedaling.

Flanker Paul Bester capitalized, running well in support and scoring three tries in the first half. With Colton Cariaga and Joe Cowley also touching down, and Cowley adding all the conversions, Life led 35-3 at halftime.

The constant barrage was exhausting for the Nittany Lions, and the Running Eagles kept it up in the second half.

Cowley was superb in making all but one conversion in the second half, and Life goes on to host BYU (pending a remarkable UCLA comeback) next week.
