CPD West Update
Colleges - Men's DI College

Arizona State defeated Colorado State 40-10 Saturday in College Premier Division action, improving to 3-1 in the CPD West.

Head Coach Gary Lane said he was, overall, pleased with the performance but also mentioned that his side could have scored more - they were held up in-goal three times.

Travis Hughes scored three tries for ASU and Rashad Sleem and Adam Sandstrom also got into the scoring.

Also in the West, BYU won handily Friday night, and Utah won big, 48-19, over Arizona, led by Sione Lauti's 16 points. That win put Utah in the driver's seat for the 2nd-place playoff spot behind BYU. However, Arizona State still has a shot, but that shot requires beating the 5-0 Cougars.

Air Force posted an impressive win over Colorado 36-10.
