Paced by 35 points from Connor Mills and a complete turnaround in almost all possession stats, Texas A&M throttled Oklahoma 85-0 Saturday in D1A rugby action.

Mills scored two tries, a penalty goals, and was 11-12 in conversions to claim his 35. But it was a strong team effort that kept the ball in Aggie hands all day.

"It was a total turnaround from last week," said Texas A&M Head Coach Brett Mills. "Last week Arkansas State had about 90% of the possession; this time, we had about 90% of the possession. That gave our backs a chance to run and our wings were outstanding today. We took almost every scrum and they couldn't really get going off their set piece."

The pick of the tries was probably Luke Carter's. He ran in under a high ball and leaped into the air, snatching the ball off a defender's head to then run in uncontested.

Lukas Jacobson scored two tries, while Sean Doherty, moving from lock to No. 8, was excellent in the new position.

"Overall, it was a good day," said Coach Mills, in quite the understatement. A&M is 1-1, while OU slips to 0-2.
