D1A Schedule Released
Colleges - College DI-A

BOULDER, Colo. – The schedule for the 2012 USA Rugby College Men’s Division 1A (formerly College Premier Division) season has been released.

The 26 elite men’s collegiate rugby teams in the country will begin play in late February and the season will culminate with the Division 1A National Championship on May 19, 2012.  The Championship venue is yet to be determined.

The schedule also confirms the loss of five programs from 2011, with Claremont Colleges, Dartmouth, Tennessee, LSU and San Diego State all moving back to what is now called D1-AA.

The season kicks off on February 25 with two Mid-South clashes as last year’s semifinalists, Arkansas State, take on Texas A&M and Oklahoma goes up against Life University.

The following weekend of March 3, all the conferences get into the action.
