Lindwood University flyhalf Brendan Davis, a junior from Sydney, Australia (Randwick), scored 45 points to lead the Lindenwood to a 105-15 victory over Principia on Saturay. He scored three tries and went a perfect 15-for-15 on conversions from all angles on a breezy day.
Davis also accounted for 38 points in last week's 127-0 demolition of defending West champs SLU for a personal haul of 83 points in the last two matches.
In their first year, the Lions have exploded onto the college rugby scene with a 6-0 record against college teams, two being DI, and a pair of wins against DII club sides. Lindenwood has hung over 100 points in each of their last three league games, and Davis has been a main contributor, accounting for 201 of his team's 605 points this season.
