NIKE Camp Offers Two Experiences in Houston
Colleges - Camps & Clinics

In a few weeks young rugby players will have the opportunity to be taught by their role models and then watch them play in an International Test Match. NIKE Rugby Camp will hold a clinic on June 7 and 8 at the centrally-located Regis School in Houston, Texas prior to the USA Rugby Test Match versus Ireland. USA 7s star Colin Hawley will lead instruction with planned visits from USA 15s players Chris Biller, Brian Doyle, Zach Fenoglio, Mike Petri and special guest USA Captain Todd Clever.

Colin Hawley and some camp friends in 2012.The action packed two day clinic will be a memorable experience for all that attend. Seventy five players from the ages of 10 to 18 have already registered and few spots remain. You can register at http://www.ussportscamps.com/rugby/elite/elite-rugby-camps-houston/.

Nike Rugby Camp founder Ethan Willis stated, "Our goal has been to teach young players proper fundamentals and give them exposure to players on the USA Rugby Team. We feel this model gives young players a direct understanding of what it takes to reach their goals on and off the rugby field", Willis continued, "We hope our non-profit foundation will enable more kids to have this unique opportunity."

The ELITE Foundation is hosting a cocktail and appetizer fundraiser in Houston on June 7 at 6:30pm at the Post Oak Grille. The ELITE Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 non-profit, provides scholarships for players who otherwise would not be able to afford camp the opportunity to attend NIKE Rugby Camps across the country. The fundraiser has generously been provided by Jacob and Adelina Monty and all proceeds from the $50 entry fee will directly provide scholariships to in need players. Many USA players will attend the event and USA Captain Todd Clever will speak and give attendees first hand insight on what it is like playing for the USA team.
