Former Cal Captain Derek Asbun, who had been playing with Rosslyn Park and Wasps A in England, will be joining University of Cape Town in South Africa. Asbun confirmed the move with RUGBYMag and said he is just trying to get a good level of rugby and some playing time. UCT plays both club and university opponents in South Africa. He told RUGBYMag that he has a year-long visa, but will likely return in April, which would be in time for some key matches for the Raptors. "Hopefully something works its way into having me come back [to New Zealand], though," he said. Fenoglio played for the USA Selects in the ARC and received his first cap for the USA during the team's November test matches. |
