USA prop and former Cal captain Eric Fry has officially signed with London Scottish now that his work visa has been approved.

Fry, who had an excellent November series with the United States, comes to Scottish from the Manawatu Turbos in New Zealand, where he played a season in the ITM Cup.

"We're delighted to bring in a player who has played international rugby, can play both loosehead and tighthead and has got a tremendous work ethic," said London Scottish Director of Rugby Simon Amor. "With only three contracted props in our squad previously, we felt it was necessary to strengthen in that area, despite all three going well on the pitch, so that we can add some support, backup and competition to the team. We feel that Eric is right for London Scottish and that we can help develop him as a player."
