Cruel Injury Scuttles Emerick Start

Paul Emerick was slated to start at inside center for Wasps last weekend, but was pulled out at the last minute with an injury.

For the American, it was horrible timing.

"I needed [the start] to show the Wasps and other clubs I can play at this level," said Emerick. "I was very gutted, but that's life sometimes."

Emerick will be back fit in two or three weeks, but that one chance missed is a tough one to take for the USA center.
