| HS All Americans Sweep Day 1 at Rosslyn |

The High School All Americans finished Friday 4-0 in Group G play at the Rosslyn Park 7s. The American team, playing in the massive tournament, which features over 7,000 teenage rugby players in a variety of divisions, did well despite only a couple of days of training together. Led by captain Nu’u Aiava, a Hawaiian-based halfback, the HSAA opened their weekend with a 47-0 thrashing of Welsh school Ysgol Dyffryn Taf. They followed that up with a 61-0 shutout of Lycee Francais Charles de Gaulle, a London-based school for French students. That set them up with by far their most competitive match of the day. Nottingham High School, won by the HSAA squad 33-22. This was an odd result given the fact Nottingham ended up only 1-3 on the day. King Edward VI Grammar School was up next, and another shutout – 42-0 for the HSAA team. That left the Group G standings as follows:
