Below are the most current women's DI college standings for those unions that are in league season.

The Mid-Atlantic may appear to be slow going, but all of the teams have been very busy fattening up their skimpy league seasons, two of which are decided by one game. Some fantastic "friendlies" have already occurred this past month, including a rematch of the national championship, a game that Penn State won 14-5 over Army. Navy has also looked stellar thus far, beating Brown 21-7, UVA 10-3 and winning the top Potomac seed with a 71-7 drubbing of Maryland last weekend. Penn State and UVA are expected to win their conferences as well.

No surprises in the Midwest thus far. Eastern Illinois, Michigan and Northern Iowa are all looking solid. Notre Dame has been fun to watch since jumping up from DII this year. Although the Fighting Irish are 1-2, both of their losses earned the team a bonus point.

In the Northeast, the Ivy League is only a week from conclusion, and as expected, Brown is atop the charts. What might not have been so easily to predict, Princeton is in second on points differential, also 4-0. The Tigers have been at the heart of some great battles in the league's inaugural season, including a 31-24 victory over Dartmouth and 26-14 win over Radcliffe. The Ivy League has been awarded three seeds to the NRU championship, so that final spot will come down to Radcliffe and Dartmouth, who are both 2-2 right now.

New England gets the first and last seeds to NRUs, and Army is assured the top spot. The second seed will likely come down to Boston College or Boston University, who tied each other 10-all a couple of weeks ago. Buffalo has secured the lone New York State seed and enters the championship as the #4 seed overall.

And finally, the new Pacific Mountain Conference's East division is a couple games into its first season. It's not a huge leap of faith to say that Women's Cougar Rugby will dominate the league, and the Final Four team initiated its season with a 75-0 win over New Mexico. Colorado looks a little stronger than it did at this time last year, and its two wins over Colorado State and Air Force have been encouraging.
